The only surviving advance three-sheet poster of the greatest sequel of all time, The Bride of Frankenstein. Up for auction in Beverly Hills and expected to fetch at least $700,000. The taglines are particularly great: “Who will be THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN? Who will DARE?” Like there’s women considering the pros and cons.

Back in the early 80s, WNET (the local PBS station in New York and New Jersey) used to show slides of scenes from the films they would show under the “Cinema Thirteen” banner.
